Today, in our Intercessions, we pray for…The Earth-For the material, physical and spiritual restoration of this our island home. May we all consider how we act as stewards.

For Peace and Reconciliation for the people of Haiti who are experiencing what is close to a civil war.  We pray for the people who are suffering.  We pray to for the cessation of war between Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Gaza, other parts of the middle east, civil wars and border wars in part of Africa, remembering the children kidnapped in Nigeria, as well as border conflicts in South America.  We pray too for refugees who are on the move to escape conflict and who live in fear.


For the Communities Where we Live, Work, Play, 
and are connected. – For the community of Delta and other communities where we live.  We pray for hospitals and other health care facilities, doctors, nurses, caregivers, and other staff.  We pray for charities who provide meals and shelter to the homeless.  We pray for our schools as places of safety to learn, both for students and teachers.  We pray for all aspects of our community life together.  We give thanks for our multicultural community and pray for opportunities to grow deeper in our knowledge and understanding of one another as neighbours.

In the Wider Anglican Communion - The Diocese of Ibba, Anglican Church of South Sudan - Bishop Wilson Kamani -The churches & people’s struggle to survive in Sri Lanka & the Congo, as well as places where the church is persecuted as in China and India. 
 -We pray for the ministries of ‘Sleeping Children Around the World’, HOPE International, Young Life, & PWRDF
