Obie Adabanya is the Director of Children's Formation at St. Cuthbert Anglican Church, where she is passionate about helping children build a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ. She believes that children's ministry is one of the Church's greatest opportunities to shape the next generation of Christian leaders by creating environments where children feel loved, valued, and encouraged to grow in their faith.
With a background in law, business, and leadership, Obie brings a thoughtful and organized approach to ministry, combining strategic planning with a genuine heart for service. She is committed to developing engaging, Christ-centred programs that make biblical teaching meaningful, interactive, and relevant for children and young people.
Her vision is to build a sustainable Children's Ministry that not only nurtures faith today but also equips future generations to serve God with confidence, compassion, and purpose. She is passionate about partnering with families, empowering volunteers, and fostering a ministry culture where every child has the opportunity to discover their God-given gifts and know that they are deeply loved by Christ.
Outside of ministry, Obie enjoys planning creative learning experiences, mentoring others, and finding new ways to help children learn, lead, and grow together in faith.
