About St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church
To seek and encourage growth as a Christ centred Parish Community, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to know God and to make Him known.

St. Cuthbert Anglican Church in North Delta, BC, has been a cornerstone of faith and community since its founding in 1959. Rooted in the mission to grow as a Christ-centered parish, we embrace worship, fellowship, and outreach.

Our journey began in local homes and schools, responding to North Delta’s post-war growth. By 1960, our first church building was completed, setting the stage for decades of ministry, expansion, and service. Over the years, St. Cuthbert’s has welcomed generations of worshippers from Delta, Surrey and neighbouring communities, expanded its facilities, and developed over 40 ministries to support both spiritual growth and community outreach.

With a strong tradition of hospitality, music, and faith-driven service, we continue to grow as a welcoming family in Christ. Join us as we celebrate our past and look forward to the future.

Vision
This is our vision:

Growing, Knowing, and Sharing God's Love

Our Mission

To seek and encourage growth as a Christ-centered community, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to know God and to make God known in word and deed.

Our Core Values
This is what is important to us:
    1. Community: A Christ-centered Group united in living for God's honor and glory.
    2. Connection: A Family of God who walks humbly with God, does justice, and loves kindness.
    3. Communication: An Intentional Community that shares information clearly to advance God's kingdom.
    4. Continuity: A People of God who pass on their faith through teaching and formation for future generations.
    5. Compassion: A Community that is deeply moved to notice and help those in need.

We are a Christ-centered community that emphasizes connection, communication, continuity, and compassion, all rooted in the principles of God's love and justice. We highly value living for God's glory, walking humbly, doing justice, loving kindness, and sharing information to advance God's kingdom here on earth as it is in Heaven. We are deeply invested in the need to pass on our faith through formation and teaching, and we are genuinely moved in our inner being to help those in need.

Our Prayer

Give us faith to go out with courage, not knowing where we go, but only that Your hand is leading us, and Your love supporting us; through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

Amen
