Parishioners and clergy visit Northcrest Care Centre, in North Delta, on Tuesday mornings for a short service of praise and Scriptures, provide Communion once a month, and lead a service of worship, prayer and singing every second Sunday afternoon. If you can sing, read Scripture, or simply be present with the residents, you are welcome to join us.
There are also monthly outreach services at Laurel Place in Surrey.
Laurel Place provides you with a safe and secure living environment with excellent, professional, 24-hour nursing services for Long Term Care and Convalescent care to publicly subsidized, private pay and respite residents. We are a long-term care home in Surrey, with a focus on person-centered care that values each of our residents as unique persons. We seek to maintain the exclusivity, the individuality and life history of all individuals. At Laurel Place, we specialize in dementia care. Our memory care communities offer care for seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia. Memory care empowers seniors with memory impairment to stay as active and engaged as they possibly can, while living in a dignified, safe and secure environment.
This outreach ministry at St. Cuthbert's provides meals and support for at-risk people in Surrey who are living with HIV and AIDS. There is a basket in the Narthex to put your egg cartons, cloth shopping bags, and specialty food items that are requested throughout the year. Monetory donations are always appreciated as it enables us to purchase nutritious food for those in need.
In October/November, individual parishioners fill shoeboxes to send as Christmas packages for needy children around the world. The boxes are collected and delivered to Samaritans Purse which delivers them, along with boxes collected from across Canada, to a country where children are most in need.
There are many other outreaches that originate from our church to our neighbours and the rest of the world: Camp Artaban, Fellowship of the Least Coin, Alongside Hope, St. Cuthbert's special Lenten offertory, Sleeping Children Around the World, Northern Clergy Families Fund, the North Delta Refugee Committee, and International China Concern.

Through Options B.C., volunteers at St. Cuthbert's prepare a bi-weekly lunch for expectant mothers and new mothers who are at-risk. The lunch program is run by St. Cuthbert teams at both St. Cuthbert's and another location in the Guildford area.
If you enjoy food preparation, cooking and washing dishes, you will be welcomed.
