Lay Assistants play an essential role in all church services, contributing to the spiritual life of the congregation through leadership and service.

Responsibilities of Lay Assistants:

  • Leading parts of the church service.
  • Assisting in administering the Blessed Sacraments during Communion.
  • Supporting outreach by offering monthly services at Laurel Place and Northcrest, including Communion, singing, and fellowship with church groups.

Commissioning:
Lay Assistants are appointed during the Annual Vestry Meeting and commissioned by Archbishop Stephens to administer the gifts for the upcoming year.
